Day 1: Arrival
Our driver will pick you at Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO), drive to Green Mountain Hotel in Arusha. In the evening you will meet your safari-guide for a short briefing about the safari.

Day 2: Arusha National Park to Mto wa Mbu
The morning after breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you at the hotel ready for the safari. You will head to Arusha National park. Arusha National Park one of the smallest but beautiful parks for a game drive and walking safaris. The second highest mountain in Tanzania mount Meru is inside this park. After registration at Momella Gate, meet an armed ranger who will accompany you on the walking safari which will give you the opportunity to experience the wildlife very closely. After the picnic lunch drives to Fanaka Lodge at Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight. 

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
Early in the morning after breakfast, you will depart to Lake Manyara Park which nestling at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. The park is recognized for its fabulous beauty and lions climbing trees. Expect to see many animals such as Hippos, Buffalos, Elephants, Giraffes, Impalas, and thousands of common and migratory birds. After lunch, drive to the campsite at Lake Eyasi for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Lake Eyasi
After breakfast, you will visit the tribe of Hadzabe and Datoga and joining them for different activities. Hadzabe is the only remaining hunters and gatherer in  East Africa, while the Datoga tribe are the local ironsmiths. You will spend the rest of the day in Lake Eyasi enjoying local food.

Day 5: Ilkiding’a Village
Early in the morning, drive from Lake Eyasi to Arusha. You will have a hot lunch in Arusha before heading to Ilkidinga village. After arriving at Ilkiding’ a, you will get paper meant tea and start your walking tour around the field to see different plantations like coffee, bananas etc. Before dark, you will visit the blacksmith and learn how to make the Maasai knives. After the tour, return to your local house to spend evening hours with Maasai men to learn how to prepare the barbecue  “nyama choma” before you go to sleep.

Day 6: Visit primary school and Waterfalls
Wake up in the morning and join Maasai women to learn how to make coffee. You will participate in the process of roasting coffee in local ways. After breakfast, your guide will take you to visit Ilkidinga primary school, the school is not far from where you live. After the school tour, you will spend 2 hours walking to the waterfalls. The waterfall is 70m high one of the biggest in Arusha. Return back to your house for lunch and relaxation. Evening you have an option to visit a nearby restaurant where you can taste local wine (banana wine) other drinks available. 

Day 7: Visit Maasai Market
After breakfast, your guide will peak you from the village to the Maasai market in Ngaramtoni. You will walk for 2 to 3 hours from the village to the market. This is the special market only on Thursday and Sunday where the Maasai going to buy and sell hundreds of cows, goats, and sheep. Not only that but also different businesses going on like selling Maasai clothes, shoes, handicrafts and local medicines. You will get your local lunch at the market before returning back to Ilkidinga village for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Ilkidinga to Airport
You will get your breakfast and lunch in the village before you transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport.
