NGORONGORO

Ngorongoro is a unique example of experiments in multiple land use. The park has the multiple purpose of integrating the protection of the local people with the preservation of nature. TARANGIRE

This is home to big elephants, Baobabs and contains the wonderful spectacle of the  African savanna and it is also the meeting point for the mightiest components of the wilderness. It is here, in northern tanzania that magnificent herds of African Elephants mare to be found. Tarangire river life is spectacular during the dry season, when the exceptional diversity of wildlife come back to the permanent waters of that river. Day after day of cloudless skies,the fierce sun sucks the moisture from the landscape, baking the Earth a dusty red, the withered grass as brittle as straw. The Tarangire River has shrivelled to a shadow of its wet season but it is choked with wildlife. Thirsty nomads have wandered hundreds of perched kilometres knowing that here, always, there is water. Located a distance of 75 miles southwest of Arusha, the park is accessible throughout the year.

MANYARA

Stretching for 50km along the base of the rusty-gold 600-meter high Rift Valley Escarpment, Lake Manyara is a scenic gem, with a setting extolled by Ernest Hemingway as the ‘the loveliest I had seen in Africa”. This astonishing oasis in the Great Rift Valley exists because of its high water table fed by countless springs from the escarpment which has given rise to dense tropical vegetation, including a forest  which flourishes because of these vast amounts of groundwater. You can also experience the tree climbing lions within the Africa savannah which is dotted with acacias. The perfection of your Africa holiday will be greatly enjoyed because of the rich number of animals and birds, in addition to that, Elephants, Buffaloes, Lions, Giraffes and the superb Bird life that will accompany you on your journey! Located in the northern part of Tanzania, its entrance gate lies 1.5 hours (126 km) west of Arusha and is very close to the ethnically diverse market town of Mto wa Mbu. 

ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK

Arusha National Park,the park is nestled between the peaks of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro,the peak of Mount Meru forming the ,Western border of the park.The vast difference in altitude (1500m-4566 m) above sea level) include a variety of vegetation zones , ranging from the afro-alpine zone to highland forests to savannah to the grassland around the alkaline lakes. Each of these zones has its own unique set of fauna and flora. Arusha National Park is one of the few places where one can see the black –and-white colobus Monkey and if you are a bird enthusiast, you simply have to go!.Arusha National Park is ideal for day visits as it is only 26 km east of Arusha.

MARANGU DAY TRIP
This is an amazing opportunity to climb Mount Kilimanjaro to the first camp. This tour is suitable for everyone. You will familiarize with mountain climbing while enjoying the beautiful scenery on the way up to Mandara Camp.

Early in the morning you will meet your guide at the hotel in Arusha and depart to Marangu Gate. Registration and other formalities must be cleared at the Marangu Gate office. Begin the walk up to Mandara hut,approximately 4-5 hours.

Pole pole (Slowly, slowly) walking is the key to giving you the maximum time for pleasure and learning while passing through the dense and humid forest, which is full of bird life and Colobus Monkeys. Enjoy the opportunity of visiting Maundi Crater for a spectacular view of Lake Jipe and the plains of Pare and Usambara.  Don’t Hurry! After lunch at the camp descend back to Marangu Gate.

LAKE CHALA


This is a caldera- a spent collapsed volcano that has a fresh water spring that feeds it year round. It is located in the foothills of Kilimanjaro on the border between Tanzania and Kenya.
