Make sure all your gears are warm and lite, avoid cotton as cotton material traps moisture. Keep in mind that, porters will carry your luggage however, you will carry a daypack yourself in order to keep all your important documents, drinking water, lunch box if any and some clothes just in case you need to change on the way.
Avoid overweight packing, will help to decrease the unnecessary number of porters. Kilimanjaro porters are limited to carry only 20 kg as the top weight arranged by the park authorities. We recommend packing the useful gears for the mountain only, you may leave the rest of unwanted staff for the mountain at your hotel or feel free to leave at our office. We remind you to pack everything you will need to use on the way because the porters who carry your duffle bag are always fast than you.
One day before the climb, you will meet your head guide at the hotel for the briefing and equipment checking.
