Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa. It is also the highest free-standing mountain in the world.
Due to its popularity and high charges from the Government it is not cheap to climb Kilimanjaro. Some people searching for the cheap cost, however before you pay for any company which promises cheap, make sure to research the expenses covers your trip. 
Below is the break down of some of the payments for your climb

-Entrance Fee/Conservation fees $70 per day
– 5 Days climber will pay $70X5 = $ 350
-6 Days climber will pay $70×6= 420
-7 Days climber will pay $70×7= $490
-8 Days climber will pay $70×8= 560

Hut Fee $60 per Night for Marangu Route
– Night climber will pay  $60×4= $240
– Night climber will pay $60×5= $300

Camping Fee $50 per Night (Machame, Lemosho, Umbwe, Rongai)
– 4 Night climber will pay  $50×4= $200
-5 Night climber will pay $50×5= $250
-6 Night climber will pay $50×6= $300
-7 Night climber will pay $50×7= $350

Rescue Fee $20 per the whole trip, paid once (Must be paid)

Crew Fee $2 per person for the whole trip (number depend with group size)
All these fees must be included VAT which is 18%

The direct fee paid to the Government to obtain the permit for 6 Days Marangu route for 1 client 
* Entrance fee  $70 x 6 = $420
* Hut fee            $60 x 5 = $300
* Rescue fee      $20 x 1 = $20
* Crew Fee        $2 x 5 = $10

The direct fee paid to the Government to obtain the permit for 7 Days Machame route for 1 client 
*Entrance fee  $70 x 7 = $490
* Hut fee             $50 x 6 = $300

* Crew Fee        $2 x 7 = $14

How many porters, guides and cooks you will need for your Kilimanjaro trip?
The number of crew depending on the group size and the route (camping/hut)
Below is the number of guides according to the regulation of Kilimanjaro National Park 
*1 Tourist need 1 Guide
* 2-4 Tourists  need 2 Guides ( 1 head guide and 1 assistant guide)
*5 Tourists need 3 Guides (1 head guide and 2 assistant guides)
* 6-7 Tourists need 4 Guides (1 head guide and 3 assistant guides)
*7-9 Tourists need 5 Guides ( 1 head guide and 4 assistant guides)

Crew payments/allowance 
* Head Guide        $25 per day
* Assistant Guide $25 per day
* Cook                    $20 per day
* Assistant Cook  $15 per day
* Porters                $12 per day
